Beyond 10,000 Steps per Day: Add Moderate Intensity for Fitness

Is it enough to log 10,000 steps per day, or do you need to do some exercise that gets your heart pumping and lungs puffing? It stands to reason that you will get more aerobic fitness benefits by getting aerobic, and a University of Alberta study has shown that non-astonishing fact.

Walking 10,000 steps per day at no particular pace can help burn extra calories and prevent weight gain or assist weight loss. But to improve your aerobic fitness, you need to raise your pulse three times a week. Here are some ways to get started.
