- Walking and Yoga Together: Walktopia brings us a series on combining labyrinth walking with yoga for total inner peace, or something like that.
- Nordic Walking Step by Step Book: David Downer has published the first step-by-step book on nordic walking in English. Nordic Walking Step by Step is available as an e-book for download. I'll be doing a full review, but my first glance through it is highly favorable.
- Communing with Cacti: It's a bit hot now, but come autumn and winter you may want to take an Arizona vacation and enjoy the big cacti at Saguaro National Park. Our Guide to the Southwest USA takes you on a virtual hike.

The desert volkswalk/hike was actually done in the spring and that’s why the hikers could enjoy all the blooming cacti. Usually the Saguaro bloom in May and by then it’s a bit toasty!
