- 40 at 40: Eric is celebrating his 40th birthday on Sunday, May 28 by walking 40 miles. He's been recording his training in his 40 at 40 Walk blog. He's raising money for Outward Bound and his walk goes through Pasadena, Los Angeles proper, and Santa Monica.
- 6 Ways to Improve Your Diet at Work: I find myself sabotaging my eating plan by not planning ahead for what I eat at work. Diet-Blog has great tips on how to eat at work. I got some help this week as our workplace banned all potlucks and shared food due to an outbreak of norovirus. I don't think that's one of the tips, though...

- Nike and iPod Team Up for Smart Shoe: I'll wait and see, but this looks like fun: The Nike+iPod a sensor in your Nikes transmits your walking or running data to your iPod and you can listen to your pace, calorie burn, etc. download it. Plus custom workouts and workout playlists. You can pre-order the Nike Moire shoes and Nike+iPod Sport Kit. Laura Moncur of Starling Fitness asks the questions I have about this - like, do I have to wear Nikes? Most Nike varieties just don't fit me right. via the Trail Runners Blog.
