Walking Rt. 66: Where's Dennis?: Dennis Kinch is walking from Chicago to Los Angeles on historic Route 66 to raise awareness of the far-reaching effects chronic pain has on an individual's life. The walk is to inspire hope in the nation’s more than 75 million people living with chronic pain. He started Sept. 19, 2005 and plans to finish in May or June of 2006. Currently he is in Santa Rosa, New Mexico, having walked over 1200 miles. You can follow along with him in the Where Is Dennis? blog on the National Pain Foundation site. Dennis has two painful degenerative conditions - Paget's Disease and ankylosing spondylitis. His motto is, "Do what you can - when you can."
