For the Walker's Stocking

Thursday December 22, 2005
If Santa needs a hint on what to give you, or you wonder what to give your walking buddies, here are some last-minute ideas.
Pedometer: You can find pedometers at any sporting goods or health store.
Walking Socks: Smartwool or CoolMax socks are always appreciated. Find them at an outdoors store, sporting goods store, or running shoe store.
Spa Foot Pampering Kit: You should be able to find a kit at any store selling skin care products, but you may want to ask at a local day spa to get the really good stuff.
Foot Spa: My walking buddies have almost shamed me into getting a real foot spa rather than using 2-gallon ziplock bags to soak my feet after a long walk. Almost. You can find these at any home and bath store.
Blister Prevention Products: Round out a foot care package with BodyGlide or Sportshield or another blister-prevention lubricant from a running shoe store.
