Google Maps Pedometer Walking Route Tool

Tuesday August 16, 2005
Use the Google Maps Pedometer online tool to draw, measure, and save your walking, running, or biking routes. I've been working with programmer Simon Buckle to create this fun tool. Use the Google Maps Pedometer to zoom to your local area down to street level and begin clicking to draw your walking route. Your total distance is shown in miles or kilometers. Then you can bookmark your route to share with your friends. Come and play with the Google Maps Pedometer.

Why is the google map not available any longer? The map portion of the page is now blank and has been for about 2 weeks. Is it going tobe available again?

Welcome, that link is to a site off of About.com, over which we have no influence. Please use our partner Google Map site, Mapmyrun.com
