Winter Walking Wear

Thursday December 9, 2004
You know that come Jan. 2 you will want to be out exercising, despite the weather. Layer up and you can keep walking comfortably. Your base layer should be a shirt of wicking fabric. For cold climates, cover it with a microfleece vest or jacket. Then top it with a windproof and/or waterproof jacket.

Walk for All Seasons Microfleece Vest: This gorgeous design reminds you to walk for all seasons, walk for all reasons. And through Dec. 30, it includes Maggie Spilner's two Walk for All Seasons Audio Tapes. A great deal.

Top Picks for Women's Winter Walking Shirts: my picks to wear walking, including wicking base layer shirts and cozy insulating microfleece.
Walking.about.com Winter Wear: Wear a walking slogan on a Hooded Sweatshirt, Junior Hoody, long-sleeved cotton t-shirt, or sweatshirt.
