Trade Up Your McD's Stepometer

Thursday June 10, 2004
I reviewed the McDonald's Stepometer that you get free in the Go Active! Happy Meal. Simply put, it's not very accurate. I hope the Stepometers get people into the step-counting habit, but I and others worry that people might stop because of the inaccurate counts. The most accurate pedometers, as determined by researchers, are the Yamax Digi-Walkers. Step Into Health is giving an additional 10% discount to those who want to trade up from their McDonald's Stepometer to a Yamax Digi-Walker. Through July 31, 2004, order from Step Into Health and use the coupon code "stepometer" for 10% off your total order. The NL-2000 from New Lifestyles is also top-rated for accuracy.
