No Osteoporosis Protection?

A study published in the Journal of Internal Medicine says walking and aerobic exercise have little impact on bone density. But being overweight does result in denser bones! Walkers do have fewer hip fractures, the most dangerous complication of osteoporosis. They believe this is because walking helps you develop your balance better, so you fall less frequently.
Keep walking anyway, several studies have shown that walkers live longer and healthier.
